A little bit about me: I am a fine art wedding and portrait photographer based in Portland OR who is inspired by beauty in my own life which includes traveling and finding unique beauty in all places. Hi!

My name is Amanda and I’m getting married October 4, 2015. I’m from sunny Jacksonville, Florida but my wedding will be in Hilliard, Florida at The Mansion. David and I met our first semester of college after being partnered up for a school project and since then we have been best friends. We have been together 6 amazing years. October 4 will a day to remember. Live music, dancing under the stars, a toasty Fall evening with Italian meatballs and warm bread, and a start to a beautiful life. My wedding will be elegant but with a touch of a country/ chic feel. I can’t wait!

  3. Hi! I found your page on Facebook and I adore your photography! I tagged my soon to be sister in law, Lisa, and she applied for your contest. So excited to who wins! I was wondering when you will announce the winner?

  4. Belem Martin says:

I am from Reseda, California. My name is Belem Martin, and my fiancé name is Blare Bergman. My wedding will take place in Rivera maya, Cancun on November 2, 2015. My fiancé and I met in fifth grade after I transferred schools. He was my crush, until he got extra days to finish our fifth grade science project. (Which was a big deal) because, of those extra days his project made it to the science center in Los Angeles. We both graduated and headed to the same middle school we continued our friendship with a “hello, good bye” throughout middle school. We went our separate ways in high school, and college. After reconnecting through Facebook after college we started to hangout as workout buddies. We were both had our partners. Our friendship grew without thinking nothing about. He began to have problems with his relationship due to maturity on his ex gf (she was 2 years younger) I began to have problems months after with my ex bf cheating on me. (He was or is not sure in the music industry and works with big name people like Beyoncé) so you can only imagine how easy it was for girls to throw themselves at him. My relationship with Blare continued to grow throughout the months and little did we ever imagine out of this beautiful friendship we would become best friends dating other people into being engaged to one another. There is so much more to this story that I can type forever. As of right now we are just thankful for people like you who are willing to help others realize their dreams! #BBbergman2015

Darwin and I met 5 1/2 years ago while celebrating our country’s independence. Both of us foot loose and fancy free couldn’t foresee the beauty laid before us as a blooming relationship began to sprout. I was due to return to living abroad in Ireland, but in the eleventh hour realized that fate had paved a different path to follow. After three months of dating we moved in together and have been listening to the birds chirp, watching the sun rise, and leaving a trail of flowers behind us ever since.

Flash forward to present…we live in a ‘tree house’ looking out on the San Francisco Bay and are overwhelmed with appreciation on the daily. I help run an art school, The Marvegos Fine Art School, exercising creativity in those inspirational little people. Darwin recently took over a flower shop, Florali, from his amazing mama and is learning how to run a blooming business. My favorite part is that after 8 years of being a floral designer, before becoming an art teacher, I’m able to break from the daily grind and help at Florali. When wedding season is upon us I’m right by his side making sure each bloom goes beyond expectation of each blushing bride. Now that the table is turned the question becomes who will artistically capture the intimate gathering of our loved ones and nuptials to make our special day that much more memorable?

We’ll be getting married 1/7/2016 at the Estate Belvedere on St. Croix USVI. It will be a small gathering of 50-70 people, and we cannot wait to spend a week in the carribean celebrating this moment in time with or closest loved ones.
