Erin and Chris flew from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for their engagement session along with a consultation with Kaleb Norman James and myself for their big day coming up in July. They are both such kind souls, and their proposal story is the cutest (see below)! Their destination wedding will be held in Seattle at Sodo Park, and I couldn’t be more excited about it.

A little about them: They met at work, Erin is a nurse, and Chris is in sales for a medical device company. Erin found out that he was in a band and didn’t have a girl singer. He invited her to a practice, and 3 months later they started dating. Fast forward 4 years, and he proposed to her on stage in front of all their friends and family! (So sweet.) Erin and Chris currently reside in Philadelphia, where they continue to play music and enjoy life with their puppy named Taco.

They always knew they wanted a destination wedding, and settled on the Pacific Northwest due to the musical history of Seattle. I couldn’t be more happy and excited for them, and am so glad we could meet and and that I have the privilege to photograph such an important time in their lives.

Amelia and Egan are two of the most wonderful people, and we had such a great time getting to know them and their sweet families in New Zealand. Their wedding was an absolute dream, every detail being intricate and romantic.

From The Bride:

Our wedding was a dream. It was such an amazing feeling seeing everything come together exactly as we’d envisioned. Starting from scratch, hours of hard work and planning were put in – months of gardening, late nights assembling invitations, planning the menu, writing vows, choosing the music and countless other projects done by Egan, Amelia and their family and friends.

The ceremony was perfectly imperfect, laughter and tears all the way through and a surprise live performance of our favorite song organized by the Maid of Honor.

The reception was held at Amelia’s family home where she grew up, a dream her mother always had of a family wedding at the property. The skies opened up just as we all sat down to eat, but that didn’t stop us having our first dance in the rain, barefoot and carefree, and much to our surprise, all of our guests joining in too! We have never experienced such joy and elation as we did in that moment. It’s hard to describe how much love and emotion was felt on the day by everyone but it was something truly special that will never be forgotten. The guests stayed over in tipi’s spotted amongst the trees and the celebrations continued over the weekend with a bbq the following day before the couple disappeared off to Bali for ten days of absolute bliss.
